I am pivoting one of my units to an Airbnb type of business. Specifically, it will be temporary housing for nurses. I Need to furnish the unit and a friend told me about Rakuten. So, signed up and made a $600 purchase. Got $20 back. No, it isn’t a ton of money but it is better than nothing. It adds up.
I am looking for a vacation home and why not use Rakuten where I can to get a little something back.
So, every landlord needs a toolkit. I have acquired tools over the years for free from Craigslist, discounts from Sears and buying from Home Depot. Below is a pretty decent guide of what you need. I would add a headlamp if you have to go into your basement.

Hello NYC. Hopefully everyone is safe and healthy first of all.
This Pandemic has altered our lives. Now, I have to work from home till this thing ends. I have heard some stories of people renting homes outside the city or renting out their homes. I have thought about it after 9/11 but always never thought it made sense. But, with the advent of Airbnb, the equation has changed(before I had my daughter and her activities). Below is a good primer for some people who are considering a home outside the city.
